Associate member of the Laboratory of Physics Matej Daniel PhD recived the "Siemens excellence Award" from Ministry of Education of Czech Republic for his PhD thesis entitled "Mathematical simulation of the hip joint loading", supervised by doc. M. Sochorja and prof. V. Kralj-Iglič (also the associate member of the Laboratory of Physics).
